Come Join In Fund – Latest News
The British Dodgeball Come Join In Fund continues to support new clubs and existing clubs expand and grow our sport accross the U.K. We are delighted to be supporting two new adult community clubs launching this month and next in Guernsey and Maidstone. Both clubs have received equipment, insurance and networking support to give their club the best start possible.
The Guernsey Donkey Dodgers launch on Sunday 10th December, 5:30pm-6:30pm at Vale Church Hall. The club will be led by Wales Dragons international Ellie Tanguy and she is very excited to be bringing dodgeball to her home island. The club will initially offer sessions to adult players but have aspirations to launch a junior section in the near future, head to their Facebook page to keep up to date on the latest news just search “Donkey Dodgers Guernsey”
Maidstone Falcons Dodgeball Club in Kent will soon be flying into their first session in January. The club will run on Fridays 7pm-8pm at Maidstone Grammar School and will be led by Dan Benson. Dan has been playing for fellow Kent based club the Canterbury Crocodiles and is thrilled to be offering dodgeball to a new area. The aim for the club is to be fun focused and a place for beginners to develop their skills. Keep up to date on social media, just search “Maidstone Falcons Dodgeball Club”
Best of luck to both clubs, we hope you have a great launch. Are you interested in our Come Join In Funding Award? Check out the page here and get in touch https://www.britishdodgeball.org/come-join-in/
