Entry Fees

  1. Secondary School (Year 9&10) Regional Championships are £65 per team (not per school entered) for qualified teams.

Entry fees will be invoiced upon confirmation of your entry directly to the bursar details you provide. By entering a Schools Championship each team will get access to the British Dodgeball Introduction to School Dodgeball online course and the British Dodgeball Introduction to Officiating Dodgeball online course for two members of staff on each course.

Entries for the Secondary School Championships go live on Monday 2nd September 2024. Entry deadlines are listed by each competition.

If you can no longer attend a competition, please notify James as soon as possible. Refunds will be issued in-line with our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Attending players are encouraged to sign up for a free Junior Membership.

Junior Membership comes with the following benefits:

  • Opportunity to compete in British Dodgeball Leagues and Events

All competitions will follow the full U15 rules. Some competitions may be played with a change to the timings in order to fit into the available time at the host school/college.

The Secondary School Quick Start Rules provide a summary of the full British Dodgeball rules, but teachers are encouraged to check the full rules document for clarification.

Teams can have a maximum of 10 players, at the start of a set six players should be on court. British Dodgeball Secondary School (Year 9/10) Championship are designed to be separate gender.

Competitions will feature a women’s category and a men’s category. Where an event is “men’s”, female players are permitted to compete alongside male players. Where an event is “women’s” only female participants can compete.

Where possible we ask schools not to bring spectators to championships.

The table below contains all the information of the confirmed competitions including the entry deadline. Entries will close at midday on the listed deadline day. Entries will close 2 weeks before the event or when the spaces are full. Information for the remaining competitions will be updated once booked in with the host school/college.

Please note the listed competitions will only run if they receive enough entries.

For the 2024/25 season the Secondary School Year 9&10 Championships will be stand alone competitions, with no further rounds.

A trophy will be presented to the winning woman’s team and winning men’s team at each championship event. At each competition there will be a certificate awarded to the team that we feel best displays and follows the Dodgeball Code.
