Training times : Thursdays 8-9.30pm

The Wilmslow Wasps were formed in 2016 after a couple of members experienced the wonderful sport of dodgeball at a local children session.

We began with 3 members and our Christmas do saw 22 of us turn out!!!. A recent promotional push has seen a brilliant increase in new members trying the sport out, and most importantly LOVING it and coming back!!!

It's a really exciting time at the Wasps with a change in structure leading to us becoming a self sufficient non-profit making club. We have 11 members playing an active part on the committee and and 5 members embarking on coaching courses. We are really proud of the reputation we are building for ourselves and the improvements we are all making in our dodgeball.

Our ethos is simple all you need to be able to do is pick a ball up and throw it….( oh and be prepared to have a real giggle in the process!)

We teach rules along the way but our primary focus is having fun, making friends, making sport more accessible and spreading the love of Dodgeball.

For those that want to take their dodgeball further we also enter tournaments run by British Dodgeball, the Dodgeball community is like no other and embrace and welcome all new comers regardless of age or ability.

The encouragement and support we have received has been fantastic and we are delighted to be part of the rapidly growing wider dodgeball community.

Our age range is 14-114!!! No barriers of size, speed, fitness or age allowed!!!
