A tremendous opportunity for a skilled, talented individual to take on a senior role within the Wales Dodgeball team and take on the role of Wales Manager. A stable team is established and we are looking for someone to pick this up and drive it forward in a professional and dynamic way. You will need an understanding of international dodgeball and how to develop an elite environment to drive performance as well as understanding Wales’s role within the British Dodgeball pyramid. 

The role is a voluntary position. 

You will have a particular focus on managing the performance of all Wales teams competing at international competition and running of the training academy. This will include a variety of management roles across different teams within the staff set up including, coaching and player development. 

There will be day to day line management responsibilities of the coaches, so good management skills and understanding of these areas are desirable.

This post will be based at home but travel around the country will be expected as well as international travel for competitions.

Wales Dodgeball has a strong reputation nationally and internationally. Can you take the team to the next level?

The successful applicant will be subject to a DBS disclosure for this position.

The recruitment process will be as following:

Closing Date: Sunday 16th October 2022, 6pm 

Candidates will be shortlisted by the Director of National Teams and will be emailed if they have or haven’t been successful for an interview. 

First Round Interview Date: W/C 17th October 2022

Interviews will be given a pre interview task to complete and present at interview. The interview panel will consist of a member of the Wales Dodgeball Committee and Director of National teams. 

The panel will use several questions to explore the suitability of the candidate for the role. If needed the candidates may be invited to a further round of interviews. All candidates will receive outcome via email.

Second Round Interview Date: TBC if needed. 

Final round of interview if needed. Again, the candidate will be interviewed by a member of the Wales Dodgeball Committee and Director of National teams. 

All candidates will receive outcome via email.
