British Dodgeball Awards 2026 – Nominations Open

British Dodgeball Awards 2026 – Nominations Open

Nominations are now open for the British Dodgeball Awards 2026, providing an opportunity to recognise the players, coaches, referees and clubs who have made a significant impact on the sport throughout the season.

The awards celebrate excellence both on and off the court, highlighting those who have helped grow the game, supported their communities and embodied the values of British Dodgeball.

Club of the Year

This award recognises a club that has made a significant contribution to either the dodgeball community or their local community over the past 12 months. This could include delivering successful projects, recruiting new players, improving club sustainability, or creating opportunities that have positively impacted participation and development within the sport.

Dodgeball Code Award

Awarded to a club whose members consistently demonstrate the principles of the Dodgeball Code. This includes honesty, fair play, integrity and respect towards teammates, opponents, referees and volunteers. The award recognises clubs that help create a positive and welcoming environment both on and off the court.

Referee of the Year

This award celebrates a referee who has officiated to an exceptionally high standard throughout the season. Nominees should demonstrate consistency, professionalism and strong application of the rules while contributing positively to events and supporting the development of officiating within the sport.

Coach of the Year

Awarded to a coach who has shown outstanding dedication to improving participation, performance and player development. Whether through delivering inclusive sessions, helping athletes reach new levels of performance or supporting the wider growth of their club, this award recognises coaches who go above and beyond for their players.

Play of the Season

This award recognises the most outstanding play from a British Dodgeball event during the 2025/26 season. Whether it’s a spectacular catch, a game-changing elimination or an incredible display of skill and athleticism, nominate the moment that stood out to you the most.

Play of the Season will be awarded via a public vote, from each play of the month throughout the season.

Nominations will remain open until Friday 19th June 2026 and Awards will be presented at British Champs 2026 in Kettering on the 4th of July.

If you know an individual, club or moment that deserves recognition, make sure to submit your nomination before the deadline.

    Before you buy

Can I learn at my own pace?

Yes! Our courses are set up so you can start, pause and return to your learning at times which are convenient to you. There is no time limit to compete the course in. The only exception to this is the online Level 2 course, which is made up of 2 webinars and lessons to complete before/after certain points, but this is all clearly marked.

Our courses are developed by teaching and coaching professionals from around the world, led by a Physical Education specialist teacher and international dodgeball coach from the UK. The WDBF Coaching Committee endorses the courses we develop to ensure the contents are of high value to dodgeball specialists and generalist sports educators alike.

Any device with access to a browser can access this course in its entirety. No additional software (e.g., word processors) or hardware is needed, unless explicitly stated (such as recording equipment for the online Level 2 course). We recommend using Google Chrome to complete the course, although it should be compatible with all browsers.

    Our courses are aimed at:

    • Anyone wanting to learn more about dodgeball
    • Physical Education teachers
    • Generalist sports coaches
    • Dodgeball coaches
    • Dodgeball players wanting to learn more about another code of the sport

It can be completed by anyone of any age, although it is recommended each learner is aged 13+. Anyone aged under 18 should get permission from a parent or guardian before signing up to online learning on this site.

Please see our refund & cancellation policy on our Policies page for more information.

    After You Buy

I no longer have access to a course. What has happened?

Please make sure you are logged in to the site so we know it’s you trying to pick up where you left off.

Please email hello@britishdodgeball.com and we’ll help.

You can see your progress at the top of each course. When it reaches 100%, you can download certificates from the same place!

We’re sorry to hear that. Please see our refund & cancellation policy on our Policies page for more information.

Of course. Please email hello@britishdodgeball.com and we’ll endeavour to help.
