Can I learn at my own pace?

Yes! Our courses are set up so you can start, pause and return to your learning at times which are convenient to you. There is no time limit to compete the course in. The only exception to this is the online Level 2 course, which is made up of 2 webinars and lessons to complete before/after certain points, but this is all clearly marked.

Who developed this course?

Our courses are developed by teaching and coaching professionals from around the world, led by a Physical Education specialist teacher and international dodgeball coach from the UK. The WDBF Coaching Committee endorses the courses we develop to ensure the contents are of high value to dodgeball specialists and generalist sports educators alike.

What are the technology requirements to take this course?

Any device with access to a browser can access this course in its entirety. No additional software (e.g., word processors) or hardware is needed, unless explicitly stated (such as recording equipment for the online Level 2 course). We recommend using Google Chrome to complete the course, although it should be compatible with all browsers.

Ben oversees the day to day operations of British Dodgeball and plays a key role in leading and driving forward the organisation and the growth and development of the Sport across the UK. Finances, event management, membership, equipment, advising and the board are just a few of his key work areas. Ben also works as a primary sports coach 6 hours a week.

Aden Woodall

Aden is responsible for the ongoing development and administration of British Dodgeball’s coach and referee education pathways. He also supports development activities for new clubs, member clubs and other organisations via sourcing funding, bid-writing, advice and resource creation. Aden also fulfills roles including managing the national academies; British Dodgeball sports council recognition; coach membership content creation; WDBF coach & referee education course design; EDF rules committee representative; and overseeing partnership development initiatives such as College Tutor Training.

Matthew leads all Marketing and Content produced by British Dodgeball including video, photo, graphic design, print media, newletters, blogs and Event Livestreams. He also manages the British Dodgeball website and supports the management of the British Dodgeball Gameday site.
