Can I learn at my own pace?

Yes! Our courses are set up so you can start, pause and return to your learning at times which are convenient to you. There is no time limit to compete the course in. The only exception to this is the online Level 2 course, which is made up of 2 webinars and lessons to complete before/after certain points, but this is all clearly marked.

Who developed this course?

Our courses are developed by teaching and coaching professionals from around the world, led by a Physical Education specialist teacher and international dodgeball coach from the UK. The WDBF Coaching Committee endorses the courses we develop to ensure the contents are of high value to dodgeball specialists and generalist sports educators alike.

What are the technology requirements to take this course?

Any device with access to a browser can access this course in its entirety. No additional software (e.g., word processors) or hardware is needed, unless explicitly stated (such as recording equipment for the online Level 2 course). We recommend using Google Chrome to complete the course, although it should be compatible with all browsers.

Whether you’re supporting a club, running school sessions, or building your coaching career, this online option offers the same high-quality learning experience without the need to travel.

What is the Format?

The first online Level 2 cohort will take place through approximately 3 hours of self-paced learning, two evening webinars and experiential learning between and after the webinars:

Tuesday 7th January 2026 — 19:30 to 21:30
Wednesday 18th February 2026 — 19:30 to 21:30

Both sessions are delivered live by our qualified British Dodgeball tutors, giving you the chance to ask questions, take part in discussions, and learn alongside other coaches across the country.

The final assessment is a submitted 20-30 minute video of a real coaching session.
