NEW Chelmsford Dodgeball Club
Chelmsford Tigers Dodgeball Club launches in September and we are excited to be supporting the new team. Over the last two years local primary school Lawford Mead have won and defended the National Primary School Championships title a very impressive achievement. To build on that success British Dodgeball have been working closely with the school teams teacher Ms Lindsay to launch the club.
In September we are delighted that there will be a platform for young people in the Chelmsford area to play dodgeball on a weekly basis at St John Payne Secondary School. The club will be available to Under 11s and Under 14s so covering Year Groups 4 to 9 initially. Some of the children who attend Lawford Mead are very excited “Finally we can play dodgeball when we leave primary school …. Dodgeball in the evening …. Best day ever!”
The new club will train on Thursday evenings at St John Payne in their Bosco Gym. Under 11s will play the first hour 6-7pm and this will then be followed by the Under 14s 7-8pm. Head Coach Tina is looking forward to welcoming back former students, current students and meeting new young people from the community to the club. “Come and train with British dodgeball champions and fulfill your dodgeball dreams!”
We must say a big thank you to Active Chelmsford who British Dodgeball have secured funding from to begin the new club. Full information on how you can get involved below. If you would like to replicate this in your area get in touch – Hello@Britishdodgeball.com
