Course Navigation

This course is made up of lessons and quizzes. Some lessons may go into further detail and therefore contain separate topics too.

You can tell lessons, topics and quizzes apart by their icons on the left. Icons turn green when completed.

When you have completed a lesson and are ready to move on, remember to click the ‘Mark Complete’ button at the bottom of each page:

Don’t worry if you move on without marking as complete; you can always go back and do this.

Some video lessons may complete automatically once you have watched the full video.

Some lessons will contain optional activities that enhance and test your learning. They are interactive and let you learn at your own pace; their main goal is to develop your knowledge and do not count towards your final score, so don’t worry about getting answers wrong! An example of one such activity is below – can you ‘throw’ the red dodgeball to hit the jumping player?

Task: Drag the red dodgeball to the jumping player. Click ‘check’ once you’re happy the ball is making contact with the player.

If you cannot see the activity above, please contact hello@britishdodgeball.com and we will provide support.

Completing a Course:

When you have completed all of the lessons and practice quizzes, you will be ready to take the final quiz located at the bottom of the course page. You can find a progress bar at the top of the course page, which automatically updates as you complete lessons and quizzes – when this is at 100%, you can download the course certificate:

We hope you enjoy the course! You can now start to move through the course content by clicking next lesson in blue below:

    Before you buy

Can I learn at my own pace?

Yes! Our courses are set up so you can start, pause and return to your learning at times which are convenient to you. There is no time limit to compete the course in. The only exception to this is the online Level 2 course, which is made up of 2 webinars and lessons to complete before/after certain points, but this is all clearly marked.

Our courses are developed by teaching and coaching professionals from around the world, led by a Physical Education specialist teacher and international dodgeball coach from the UK. The WDBF Coaching Committee endorses the courses we develop to ensure the contents are of high value to dodgeball specialists and generalist sports educators alike.

Any device with access to a browser can access this course in its entirety. No additional software (e.g., word processors) or hardware is needed, unless explicitly stated (such as recording equipment for the online Level 2 course). We recommend using Google Chrome to complete the course, although it should be compatible with all browsers.

    Our courses are aimed at:

    • Anyone wanting to learn more about dodgeball
    • Physical Education teachers
    • Generalist sports coaches
    • Dodgeball coaches
    • Dodgeball players wanting to learn more about another code of the sport

It can be completed by anyone of any age, although it is recommended each learner is aged 13+. Anyone aged under 18 should get permission from a parent or guardian before signing up to online learning on this site.

Please see our refund & cancellation policy on our Policies page for more information.

You can see your progress at the top of each course. When it reaches 100%, you can download certificates from the same place!
